Sunday was sooo exciting!! The male had taken the weekend off work and the boys knew that we were going to be going somewhere exciting!! We all got dressed, ate breakfast and it didn’t take long for the male to have the boys in my car with him too and telling me to hurry up lol! Off we drove to the station where I left my little dorie car and we got on the train to birmingham.
After a short walk and the navigator (the male on his phone) doing his magic, we arrived at..!
The Birmingham sea life centre!
I am pretty impressed with this photo!! How I managed to catch The Male as he was coming out to find why I wasn’t already in there!? Well darrrlllinngg I am a blogger! We totes have to take photo’s of the entrance 😉
Not only did we manage to spot this ray that was hiding! Kylie also managed to feed them, jeez they eat some stinky food, it was really cool to watch them swimming to the top, and when they lift out the water and you see their mouths 🙂 Ky was so excited.
Did you know jelly fish do not have a heart or a brain! No neither did I! No wonder they are so relaxed, they just exist. Looking at the jellyfish tanks at the sea life centre was so fascinating, to just watch them swimming around was so serene.
We visited the 4D cinema where we embarked on a jelly fish adventure with Spongebob and patrick, I think the magical moment was at the end where there were actually bubbles released into the cinema, baby J and Ky thought that was really special.
This next bit, apart from the fact that I was with some of my most favourite people in the world was my favourite bit of the day… the tunnel walk.
Look what they have…
This chap was seriously stunningly beautiful turtle, at one point he swam over us and I was just in complete awe of his beauty. Baby J was super excited to see him and Ky was really impressed I think it added to it for him how excited I was 😀
After a trip out for some pizza we returned back to the sea life centre so that we could visit the one and only POPPY CAT!!
*lots of excited cat, cat, cat, cat from Baby J, and Kylie got right in there for some dancing, and sat right at the front whilst the story was being told – that’s my boy!! 😀
We had a really really lovely day. Have you ever visited the National sealife centre in birmingham?? I would love to hear what your favourite moments were 🙂
We were given a pass to the sealife centre where we visited poppy cat for the purpose of this review.
