The success of our Zack and Quack Party

As you should know I was a Zack and Quack  Twitter party host alongside with some other lovely bloggers, Nickjr and Ukmumstv for the UK premiere of the new TV show called Zack and Quack. We were invited to host an actual party in our home for Ky, J and their friends. It was all very exciting. Here is how we got on.

The first part of our zack and quack party adventure was receiving a big box of goodies. Seriously this box was so big J easily fit in it and it was very hard to keep him out of it for a few days whilst we prepared for the party :’) Inside were boxes to decorate, loads of crafty bits, some biscuits to decorate, work sheets and goodie bags for our guests to take home.

Part of our party was to watch the Zack and Quack show on Nick Jr which is on Fridays at 4.30pm. I was so impressed to see them all attentively watching it, especially so that J was amused by it. It was so lovely (and a little peaceful).

Then it was time to get our craft on and let the children’s imagination show! They all decided they wanted to decorate the big boxes, so we got them folded and made up and then let them lose with getting sticking and glueing adding glitter and then making their beautiful treasure boxes. They decorated biscuits and cakes, they did their little work sheets although we didn’t do the origami frog as by then they were all knackered, crafted out and full of happiness and biscuits. I packed some sweets into their goodie bags and waved them off. All in all a very successful party with happy children and a new show to watch. I hope you enjoyed watching our tweets and thank you for being involved. It was so much fun. x

What a fun way to spend an afternoon! With a teenager I don’t hear about all these new characters, but I’m pretty sure he would have loved it when he was little!

    I recently posted Finding Dory!

Oh that’s such a cool idea Hannah! We don’t watch much telly shows for younger kids anymore.I feel my 5 year old is missing out as my older ones rule the telly on Saturday mornings.
