I’m going through an insomnia ‘stage’ meaning that I have also been doing lots of over thinking. One of the main things I have been thinking is what is my life? What do I want to do with it? Where do I want to go.
And the only conclusion I have agreed on is that I don’t want to stay in the same place. I want to go with the boys and explore, I want to make and create memories to keep. I was to climb with them, jump off things. Hold hands with Andrew and watch the sun rise and set. I want us to feel sand underneath our feet and the wind in our hair. I want to go on the road trips I so long to go on. I want my family to feel that having fun and being in love actually means so much more than sitting and being unhappy and pushing for trying to get what you do not have.
For the past few days all I can think of is that we really need to start adventuring, we need to see more of the world! I would like nothing more right now than to get a back pack and get on a train with my family, I honestly believe that if we traveled for a year we would all learn so so much more than sitting in a classroom or the four walls of a hot factory floor. But life situations, confidence and an absolute sheer lack of funds holds us back.
I write this blog post as a promise to myself and to you! I am on a mission. I want to step off my ‘path’ and run through the trees. I want to take you on my journey. I’m not sure what that journey is yet, but I can tell you that I am motivated, that I want my happy. I want our happy. I want to be Happy.
Take a look around you right now, What do you have beside you? (Leave it in the comments below) I am currently sitting on my sofa, legs up, next to a bottle of Coca cola in silence because obviously everyone is asleep. And watching youtube video’s of people absolutely loving their lives, travelling and having fun. Earlier this week I was speaking to Penny from Are Residence and talking to her about travelling her blog really inspired me it was just so lovely to see all the memories she was making and so I messaged her to tell her so and she said ‘What stops you, work, money? There has to be a way..’
Here are the travelling Youtuber’s I have been enjoying watching
When my voice has returned I am going to be doing more adventuring, I am going to try and travel more even if it’s exploring the UK, that’s still much better than staring at the same four walls. I am going to try and daily vlog the school holiday whoop! And then from then on I might try and figure out some kind of a routine.
