Each drawer is big enough to have a treat, such as a few wrapped sweets, placed within it ready to be opened on the corresponding day of December. The Build your own children’s advent. This was purchased by me last year in the Tesco mega sale after christmas. I think I managed to get this for around £1 or just over. It seems a great idea as an run up to December activity with the children.
I brought two of them so that each of the boys can make one and I am going to fill each of the pockets with either a christmas task or craft, for example ‘on the table you will find some christmas colouring sheets for you to colour’ a christmas joke or something fun along those lines.
