Amazing magazine is a children’s fun and educational magazine based on Primary national curriculum. It’s designed for boys and girls ages 7+ and it covers subjects suchs as Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, Arts, Foreign languages, Personal developments and lots more. It’s a monthly 36 page publication packed with articles, facts, stories, debates, poetry, activities, puzzles and jokes!
Amazing take things that children actually like reading about such as zombies, aliens, cheesy feet etc and link these in clever and humorous ways back to the national curriculum. In this way, children get to read things of interest to them, and all along they’re learning about the things that matter – there’s nothing else quite like it on the planet!
What makes this magazine even more eye catching for the minis is that Amazing have recently taken on the ex editor for Horrible Histories magazine, and writers from the Beano and Simpson’s comics. This was picked up really quickly by Ky, who then instantly became even more interested in his new magazine.
I thought the magazines were really good because they give you some good things like how to make historic food, and give you really funny facts, plus the pictures were really good. I find them interesting and its great I can learn whilst laughing, I enjoyed reading them in the garden.
