We were lucky enough to be invited by Petplan Equine to join their exciting campaign for children to put their artistic skills to the test by drawing their dream horse.
It all started with this quite frankly A-Mazing drawing above. However weird or fantastic, the only limit is their imagination! Ky is 9 and loves drawing, he really enjoys using his imagination but he also likes following youtube videos. It was a youtube video he used to draw the above, if you want to give it ago it is this one:
I knew it would be Ky’s teddy creation as I was told it would be posted fast post and so I promised him that whilst he was at school the next day I would collect it for him. I also warned him that glow in the dark fur and a shiny glittery horn may not be on the cards but it would be awesome. And then, like a good mum I collected it during school time, and I sat, and I stared, and I sat and I stared some more and I used all of my nosey restraint and didn’t open it! I let him open it when he got home. And the results…
We love her so so much, Ky has named her Peculiar. The resemblance to Ky’s photo is amazing, I especially love her big friendly blue eyes and her rose emblem. In fact I just think she is magical and will be a treasured member in our household. I don’t know about Ky but as a proud mamabear she is definitely my dream horse!
This post has been possible thanks to Petplan Equine, but all thoughts are my own. A lot of us dreamt of having a unicorn when we were younger! And since having equine insurance is part of being a responsible horse owner, you can Get a horse insurance quote <== for your beauty .
