Today I am showing you a dragon from the Schleich Elrador collection.
The ‘Dragon Night Hunter’.
When darkness falls, the night hunter leaves its cave and becomes the most deadly of nocturnal predators.
The Elrador range is aimed at children 5-8 years old however I believe they could definitely be a gift for a dragon loving adult.
The detailing and definition in the toy is just beautiful, from the blacks of it’s eyes to it’s red neck and belly, a lovely paint job and it’s modelled in a great position which is good because the only movement in it is it’s hinged jaw that moves up and down. Perfect for blowing imaginary fire and eating knights.
With Schleich toys I find that they are the most hard wearing and most detailed plastic toy around. Although on the slightly more expensive side, they are definitely worth paying the extra for. They are more than likely the play toy that will last the longest and look good whilst doing so.
The dragon comes with a booklet attached showing you the other dragons in the collection and also giving a small back story of the night hunter.
‘By day, the night hunter hangs motionlessly in its cave. Only when darkness falls does the most deadly of nocturnal predators set off to hunt.’
