Self Care Week – Day 1
Good morning, and welcome to last nights hungover brain child. You see this past week has been full on with visitors, entertainment and having people around me. I have been working hard on a new normal and getting back into reality and really enjoying my blog and my life again.
However my immune system has taken a hit because I have been doing so much. I have an ear infection with a perforated ear drum. Pain from my Fibromyalgia, a funny stomach. Odd hormones and a freaking cold sore. I need some calm, some inner peace and some self love and I decided what better way to do it than to help myself and hopefully help others in the process and this is where my Self Care week has come about.
I have decided that every day this week I am going to schedule little reminders and set a challenge. as well as having more time in nature and less time facing a screen. I hope to have more sleep, more bubbly baths and far more time reading and meditating.
Lets re-evaluate our inner power and have a week to inspire and plan to ensure the next few months will be our greatest yet.
First I want you to answer this question:
Nothing says Me Time like…..?
I set out my notebook and I jotted down things that make me happy from bubbly baths, to cat memes and singing along to old school tunes.
This was the first thing I did when planning the self care week because Me time is so so important and yet it’s something a lot of us devalue due to being ‘too busy’ or to putting everyone else first.
Today I want you to really take the time to think about what you can do to help yourself this week, to love yourself this week. To give yourself a chance to reboot and come back even stronger. I will be dropping 15 minutes timers and reminders to stay hydrated throughout this week on my Facebook and Twitter.
What have you learnt about yourself? What do you need to do for yourself this week to help yourself feel cared for?
