I was recently invited to celebrate christmas with Hibs 100 and Homesense at the Lost and Found bar in Birmingham. I love it when an event is close to home and so was glad to be added onto the list last minute. Travelling from the train station to Lost and found was a delight, so many pretty lights and such a christmassy happy feel. I walked around lost for a few minutes until a passer by said ‘there’s the lost and found’ as it’s such a peculiar looking place I didn’t put it down for a bar but more of a bank.
Inside was magical, it really was a scene from Harry potter, from the door of the function room being a bookcase that moves to show the room, to all of the beautiful magical little details around the room like locks in the walls and wings on framed photos.
It was lovely to connect with bloggers old and new in such a beautiful setting, especially with the lovely prosecco and elderflower beverages being handed out. The food was delicious, especially the delicious brownies that were demolished within minutes of being bought out. I guess that’s what happens when you put cake in front of people!.
The HomeSense christmas products were located in the back room of the function room we wall all in, positioned on a lovely banquet table. Again with the same mysterious feeling of the room I felt it added to the magic of christmas for the products and a few added extras like the wolf head cocktail shaker. It was an instagram paradise and it was such fun watching other bloggers moving items around for their photos, which is why I thought it would be fun to include some of my insta photos of the night in my post.
The thing that stood out to me about these products albeit as well as the pretty sparkliness of them was the price, all of them were reasonably priced. The HUGE candelabra was only a reasonable £39.99. I of course did have my favourite products, two of them being the antler bowl and the absolutely stunning reindeer snow globe of which brings me great joy every day!
