I am so super duper excited to show your my first ever day vlog!! We went as a family to embark on a lovely family outing to the Birmingham Sealife Centre to see their new PENGUINS!!! eeeee I hope you enjoy it!, Please tell me what you think in the comment box below 😀
This year I said I wanted to make it a happy year of lovely memories and I have been trying to make much more of conscious effort to accept good opportunities that is given to me, even something like visiting my friend for a coffee or a walk around the park because I seem to isolate myself in my house through anxiety of driving ect. So when me and my lovely family were invited to a preview of visiting the new penguins at the birmingham sealife centre it was such a beautiful chance to make happy memories with Andy and the boys that I simply couldn’t resist. Andy ensured he had the time off and once the day arrived off we set.
I actually think I could honestly say I was more excited to see the penguins than the boys were although I can’t speak for Andy! They definitely didn’t disappoint with their quirky names, their inquisitive little faces and the fact that they all quite frankly would not leave poor Alf (I like to call him Alfie) alone, and that fact alone meant I found myself speaking in a penguin voice to Andy and other members of staff to what I thought Alf would be saying to them, for example ‘jeez guys, I don’t want you to continuously follow me every time I jump in for a swim I just want some alone time, it’s not you, it’s me.’ YES! I am a loon but it amused me immensely!
Penguins really are such characteristic animals to watch, and also such graceful little swimming lumps and the glide through the water albeit even if it is just following Alf.
We really did have such a glorious time at the sea life centre and to top it off we have this photo of the four of us as a keepsake for our day out, although I very much wish I hadn’t gotten so close to J, bless him 🙂 It was such a fun day for us all and the fact I did my first vlog and we have our trip recorded to look back on makes me very happy. Bring on lots more memory making and vlogging!
