Slumbersac speacialise in baby and toddler sleeping bags. They offer a whole variety of options from lightweight muslin bags to heavyweight winter bags, travel bags and even their innovative sleeping bag with feet, for toddlers learning to walk, what’s even better is these are sized up to 3-4 years, dissapointly though they don’t do adult sizes, a sleeping bag with legs is even an improvement to the onesie! I know you are now thinking about that!
Having a look through the three designs (Teddy, stars and owls) I decided on the owls and I am so pleased I did, it is just so cute. These special sleeping bags are designed so that your child’s feet fit inside the sleeping bag when sleeping, and when he wakes up he can pop his feet through the openings and walk or crawl around in it!
Gorgeously soft, with a cute owl print design and matching piping, this sleep sack range offers comfort and practicality in one. Made from soft 100% jersey cotton and lined with 100% cotton, padded with soft quick-dry polyester which prevents allergies and keeps your Slumbersac in great shape after each wash. With J being 4 in October I went for the size 3-4 years / 120 cm (measured from shoulder to the feet) and was quite surprised with how much room he has.
As he is a bit older what he likes to do in his sleeping bag is to chill out and relax on our sofa watching films or the tv, then when he gets sleepy (because he often has a nap at home) he will snuggle his little feet in and enjoy his snuggly warm nap, whilst I sit and look at how cute he is and how much I wished I was in one too.
These ‘sleeping bags with feet’ are priced at £19.99 and can be purchased from here: Slumbersac
They also have a Sleep Centre on their website which has loads of advice for parents provided by sleep adviser Eve Squires http://slumbersac.co.uk/sleep-AboutSleepCentre.html
So what do you think? Is this the way forward from a onesie?
